Tip 1: When positioning and clamping a workpiece, it is recommended to first clamp and then position the workpiece. This is because clamping may cause deformation, so it is better to clamp first and then position. For 6-point localization, aim to restrict its freedom of movement.
Tip 2: Using a magnet to pick up small parts is not convenient. Instead, place a magnet below an iron plate. This way, not only can it pick up many small pieces, but it will also attract the iron plate. The small pieces will then be automatically dumped into a collection box. This simple trick may not seem impressive, but it is very practical.
Tip 3: When using a pulley drive, slippage often occurs between the pulley and the axle. To prevent this, create a series of grooves in the axle with a diameter of ¢ 15 ~ 18mm. This will generate adhesion force to prevent slippage, turning waste into treasure and earning rewards from the boss.
Tip 4: When the hexagonal wrench 1 handle is short and cannot be forced, a section of the milling slot slightly larger than the inner diameter of the wrench tube can be inserted into the slot wrench to be used as a long handle.
Tip 5: Remove the vise jaws, add two more M4 threaded holes, attach two 1.5mm thick steel plates flush with the jaws, rivet them to a 0.8mm thick hard brass plate with aluminum countersunk head rivets. Fasten the assembly to the jaws with M4 countersunk head screws to create soft jaws. This setup protects the hardware parts from being clamped and allows for interchangeability.
